MRI Highlights Baltimore Media Arts Education on National Platform

As MRI continues to partner with media arts based organizations across the country, our goal of developing the next generation of media professionals is being embraced by more audiences all around. Founders, Jimmie Thomas and Deverick Murray had the opportunity recently to talk about

MRI's vision and current work at the national By Black Virtual conference and introduced MRI to a whole new demographic.

This conference was hosted by The U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. and The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters and featured renown speakers such D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser

and White House Correspondent April Ryan. Joined by 207 Black Owned Broadcast Media Outlets & Networks, Jimmie & Deverick spoke about the important role of media arts education for Baltimore youth and how MRI is exposing young people the industry through its programming.

A big shoutout goes to the entire NABOB and U.S. Black Chambers community for embracing MRI and a special thanks to Nori Nori, for hosting the sessions and helping MRI spread their message.
