Congratulations Are In Store for MRI Scholars

Back in our January post we mentioned that some of our Lakeland scholars put together a student film submission for The 2020 Eco- Comedy Video Competition, sponsored by the Center for Environmental Filmmaking. The theme was “ Clean Air and Clean Water” and our Lakeland scholars from the iRead iRhyme program created the “Bee Chop” with our multi talented instructor, Mr. BJ. Bee Chop was created to create audience awareness about Baltimore’s pollution problem and bee endangerment, featuring Baltimore’s Smokestack and Inner Harbor.

Well.......

MRI was chosen as a finalist for the DC/Baltimore K-8 category !!!!!!!!

We are so impressed with our group for their creativity and hard work. Now fingers croseed and on to the final round.
