Media Rhythm Institute is proud to participate in the fall edition of the Bromo Art Walk this Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 5 pm - 9 pm. The Bromo Art Walk is an evening of open studio tours in the arts district, including recording studios, art studios and galleries, theaters, and entertainment venues.
The Bromo Art District is the future home of MRI Studios, and this is our second time participating in the Bromo Art Walk. During June's Bromo Art Walk, MRI hosted a series of sidewalk concerts featuring Lakeland EMS and Park Heights Academy. Our students did a phenomenal job. View a recap of the day below.
This time, we're hosting the Gamer's Soundtrack, a beat party listening session featuring Forest Park High School's youth producers enrolled in MRI's iRhyme program. Join us as MRI's producers showcase a fusion of beats where video games meet hip hop. From 5 pm-8:30 pm, each producer pair will feature their beats in 30 minutes listening sessions.
Forest Park youth producers will team up with MRI producers to showcase their unique content. While we wait on the completion of MRI Studios, M.A.P. Technologies has agreed to host us. Located at 322 W. Baltimore, M.A.P. Technologies is a Black-owned gaming lounge and marketplace. In addition to being a gaming hub in the city, they also offer computer repair services and comic book events.
Media Rhythm Institute is dedicated to helping our students to create a portfolio of work and professional experiences on which they can build a career.
We are excited to partner with M.A.P. Technologies and the Bromo Arts District to offer our students the opportunity to share their work. Join us this Thursday and preview the next generation of talent.
