MRI Returns to the Community for An Exciting Hybrid Summer '21

Welcome back to the hottest summer ever!

This month, here at MRI we are so excited to announce our return to in-person class instruction. It seems like we have been out of the buildings for ages! Well, the wait is finally over.

Starting on June 28, we will be launching our programs at ten different sites on each and every side of Baltimore City. With that, we are extremely excited to introduce some new faces and backgrounds to our ever growing family.

First up, we would like to introduce our newest iRhyme instructor Gregory Brown!

He is a producer, singer, actor and music teacher at Friendship Public Charter Schools. He is a long time teacher, facilitator and marketer with Takelessons.com, Taylor Robinson Music, Musika,GBM Educational Services, GospoCentric, Sony Inspiration, and now Media Rhythm Institute.

Next, we would like to introduce our newest addition to the Administration team, Makayla Hall, but we all call her MK!

MK is an energetic high spirited future journalist and public health advocate currently studying at Morgan State University. Outside of the classroom, she performs spoken word poetry between Baltimore and the DC area. You can also catch her at open houses and preparing listings for future seller clients here in Maryland. With a passion for aiding health disparities, and the public school system in Baltimore City, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for what is next!

We would also like to introduce Julian Wood, our newest iRhyme instructor! He is a self taught engineer/producer that is passionate about music. Julian feels that there is no greater peace than when sounds are in harmony and tell a story. He believes it to be an honor to play a role in shaping the creativity of others, and collaborating to build a soundscape unparalleled.

Last, but certainly not least, we welcome Emma Dacol to the MRI family! She is our newest Channel Me Media instructor. Emma is an absolute joy and light to all who meet her. She brings her energy and expertise to every project and class in order to make our youth look as amazing on film as they are in person. Not to mention, she loves animals! Welcome to the team Emma!
